1. Write your message
It’s the
first step in the printing of a t-shirt that what you want to convey through
the t-shirt. If it’s for the 5-year-old child then you print cartoon or
superhero probably, but for then you should write a quote. Basically, the quote
should be readable at a quick glance and not be overprinted.
2. Adopting a printing style
It makes a
huge impact on the design itself. For example with the use of screen printing
your design will restrict to vector-based art which generally means colors and
hand-drawn, lean, yet brighter, colors and hand-drawn. In comparison, DTG or
direct to garment, printing accommodate for endless colors and pictures.
3. Choosing an image or graphic
DTG printing
is the best option to go for image printing as it will highlight your print
more accurately and from far people are able to see it clearly. Choose the
image, photo or whatever you want to print and add colors on it to give it the
unique look.
4. Type of font
Font size
matters a lot. It depends on what you are writing and what color you want for a
font to suits better. Use 2 to 3 types of a font with a different color from
t-shirt and large enough to read it. Avoid usage of too much fashionable font
as it became hard to read.
5. Choosing up t-shirt style and color
It depends
on what printing method you choose, color preference may be bounded when it
comes to the garment itself. Once you chose, consider deliberately about what
color, the design looks best. Most often, dark colors look great on the white
or light color garment and vice versa. Before printing may be some color
correction needed which you want to do on your own.
6. Selecting a printing company
After all your
hard work, what’s the benefit if the material you used in the making of a
garment is not of good quality as you expected. If your shirt or print is
damage after 3 to 4 washes what’s the use of making it and how can you think of
running a business in this competitive market. So make sure that your garment
is printed by a reputed company who can assure you the best quality product in
minimum time.
7. Show off your work
After
printing just show your work to anyone you can find or your friends, colleagues
